See when lotteries take place to make sure you never miss your favourite game. Check out the draw times for Lotto, PowerBall and Daily Lotto, along with the cut-off for ticket sales so you know exactly what time each game closes.

The table below shows the draw times and cut-off times for each of South Africa's National Lottery games. These timings are approximate and can be changed at the discretion of National Lottery operator Ithuba, but you must make sure you buy tickets before sales close for each draw, otherwise you will not be able to enter and will have to wait until the next draw.

The Raffle works differently as it is not played on a regular basis. Raffles only take place on select dates throughout the year and the time of the draw will be announced when tickets go on sale. The cut-off time is half an hour before the Raffle, but tickets are limited so they may sell out earlier. The next Raffle is due to launch on 20 October 2019, but the exact date and time of the draw are yet to be announced.

As many of these countries observe Daylight Savings Time and South Africa does not, the times that the draws take place according to local South Africa time can vary. Be advised that the cut-off time for ticket sales can vary when you enter via an online lottery service. You are advised to check the cut-off time for each lottery with your provider.
